Frogs In The Pond Spirituality?

Alright everyone…from time to time a strange event happens and I am reminded of a spiritual truth. This is your time to explain the unexplainable…a time to show your inner spiritual application of the abnormal.

I was just standing outside by my lake\pond behind my apartment just watching the stars, counting the many aircraft zooming ahead all while being drowned by the croaking of frogs. For those of you who have ever heard a pond full of frogs, you know how the crazy sound is. All of a sudden, like there was a cue from one frog…SILENCE! For about three seconds there was not a sound by the pond! Then it all started back up like it never stopped! What is the meaning of this? Has anyone ever heard of a pond of frogs just going silent all at once? Take a guess at what I was reminded of due to this strange happening.

I’m thinking that would be a weird and scary experience!

i think you farted and scared them… so they shut up and then where like “well, that doesn’t smell to bad!” and then they all croaked again… rrr…or for the last time? You can only croak once right?

hmmmm. very interesting. and dan has a point about croaking once. weren’t you sort of on that side of business once before? haha.

sorry this got away from the ’spirituality’ part…just very random.

Yes, this did get a little humorous and not so much spiritual but that’s totally fine…I apologize for the delay in my comments but what I thought of in this moment was that sometimes we jsut need to shut up and listen to what God is saying. We can get caught up in being busy and loud and social or whatever and not spend time alone in quiet.

I was just camping out in my front yard watching the stars and listening to the frogs croaking… All of a sudden, it all stopped for long enough for me to get weary and run inside to see if I could find out why (I didn’t want a bear or something to eat me)! I google searched the question and came up with yours… I too want to know why, it perplexes me to an extent you can’t even imagine!
